Vision Quest Origins

Vision Quest started as a yearly adventure celebrated by Tram and Johnny, who wanted to explore themselves and each other, expand their minds, body, and spirit. As time went by, they realized they wanted to share this experience with their closest friends and loved ones. So, they began opening up their adventures to include others, creating a community of people who shared their passion for exploration, growth, and self-discovery. Over time, this community grew, and Vision Quest became a way for people to come together, form connections, and embark on a journey of transformation and renewal.

Today, Vision Quest continues to inspire and empower people to explore their inner selves and connect with others in a meaningful way
DE-TRAMPRESSION 2019

In 2019, Visionquest celebrated Tram's birthday with a gathering called DeTrampression at New Brighton State Beach campground. The event was inspired by Burning Man decompression, which gave attendees the chance to reflect, reminisce, and reconnect after a magical experience of radical expression. As a gift to Tram and everyone else, the gathering encouraged participation and the sharing of experiences and personal stories.

Guided breathwork, music making, ghost stories by the bonfire, hiking tours, cuban coffee, kava ceremony, potions & elixirs, flavor tripping, and bottomless mimosas were some of the exciting activities offered. The celebration also included the first-ever burning of the man and temple to commemorate the release of life's struggles and challenges, and to find a moment of peace and connection with oneself and others.

The gathering was a magical and inspiring experience that allowed everyone to share a piece of themselves with others. The celebration of Tram's birthday made the event even more special and served as a gift to all who attended.
Into the Tramverse 2020

In the midst of the pandemic, Into the Tramverse was a magical event held in the heart of Sacramento. This gathering was infused with the transformative spirit of Burning Man, as we gathered together to explore the limitless potential of our souls.

We began with a captivating welcoming ceremony, adorned with bespoke pendants that symbolized our willingness to surrender our daily lives and embrace the profound experience ahead. Every space was curated with love and intention - including the first reveal of Mariposa Coffee Bar, serving up warm coffee to fuel our spirits, to Honey Barrel, offering up delectable honey mead and a stunning sunrise music set.

Our souls soared as we tasted tequila, penned love letters to our future selves, received spiritual flying lessons, and gazed upon the stars with sake in hand. As the night drew on, we shared our most vulnerable moments during the Burning Confessions, and celebrated our growth and transformation through Tramflection portraits. We even witnessed the second burning of the man wooden sculptures - a truly awe-inspiring moment that filled us all with wonder and hope.

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, through this extraordinary experience, we each discovered the endless possibilities that lie within us, and the beauty of coming together to create a community full of love, compassion, and limitless potential.
Tramsformation 2022

Tramsformation was a truly enchanting journey that transported us to a world of metamorphosis and transformation. Set in the heart of nature at Jug Handle Creek, we experienced the magic of shedding our old selves and blossoming into new, beautiful beings. From movement meditation to onewheel jousting, every moment was an opportunity to explore our inner selves and reach new heights.

The theme of transformation was woven into every aspect of the festival, celebrating the beautiful evolution of each and every attendee. The air was electric with the energy of change and growth, as we shed the old and embraced the new. The addition of little ones to the festivities made it all the more special, reminding us of the power of innocence and wonder in our journey of transformation.

As the sun set and the moon rose, we gathered around the bonfire to share our stories and reflections, basking in the magic of this transformative experience. Tramsformation was a celebration of the magic of metamorphosis, and a reminder of the power of change to take us to new heights.

Pine Grove is a forest retreat of timeless natural beauty, blessed with abundant mountain spring water. In this oasis, bordered by spring-fed year-round Cobb Creek and overlooked by Cobb Mountain, you will discover a vast and personal connection with the natural world in any season.

Tent Camping is encouraged. There are cabins available for those who would like additional comfort.
